The Role:

Working as part of a small team you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Building Cleaning Team. You will support the Area Co-ordinator to ensure the cleaning services operate and comply within set standards, policies, codes of practice, and procedures. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Area Supervisors, staff allocation, support recruitment, and deliver on-the-job training of cleaners working in various locations across the borough.

About You:

You should be an experienced Area Manager who can demonstrate a proven track record of managing teams. You will need to be focused on continually improving standards and providing high levels of customer service to our stakeholders. You should be enthusiastic and highly motivated with excellent communication and organisational skills. Ideally, you will have a cleaning background with an understanding of the cleaning standards required in schools and cost control. Confidence in the use of IT and experience with Microsoft Office is required.

This role is an essential car user post; therefore, you must have a valid driving licence and use of your own vehicle.
