Job summary

Berry Recruitment is recruiting for School Cleaners and Kitchen Assistants to provide flexible, temporary and part-time support across local primary schools. Roles offer minimum 3-hour shifts and weekly pay, with assignments near your home and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• School Cleaners: clean classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas; sweep, mop and sanitise surfaces; empty bins and replenish supplies

School Cleaners & Kitchen Assistants – Flexible Temporary Shifts

Location: Kenton and Kingston Park Job Type: Temporary / Flexible / Part-Time Hours: Minimum 3-hour shifts

Berry Recruitment are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking School Cleaners and Kitchen Assistants to work on a temporary basis across a number of local primary schools.

We have flexible opportunities available across multiple school locations, making these positions ideal for candidates looking for part-time work, additional hours or assignments that fit around other commitments.

Duties may include:

Kitchen Assistants:

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Serving meals to pupils and staff
• Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene

School Cleaners:

• Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and sanitising surfaces
• Emptying bins and replenishing cleaning supplies
• Ensuring school premises are maintained to a high standard

Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to complete a new Enhanced DBS application through Berry Recruitment
• Previous cleaning or catering experience is desirable but not essential
• A reliable and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good timekeeping and attention to detail
