Job summary

The Forest School, (North Yorks) - Park Lane, Knaresborough, HG5 0DQ, is the base for a Wellspring Academy Trust cleaning role. You will help keep classrooms, offices and washrooms fresh and tidy, with full training provided from day one.

No experience or formal qualifications are required; reliability, teamwork and a strong work ethic are valued. You’ll perform physical cleaning tasks, occasional deep cleans, and support a safe environment for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carrying out everyday cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and emptying bins.
• Sanitising washrooms and keeping hygiene supplies fully stocked.
• Using cleaning equipment and products safely with training provided on Health & Safety and COSHH.
• Carrying out occasional deep cleans during school holiday periods.
• Helping lock or unlock the site and keeping the school premises secure.
