Job summary

Rh onn da Cynon Taf County Borough Council is hiring a Cleaner (Grade 1) at Garth Olwg Community Campus in Pontypridd. The role covers cleaning of all internal school areas, with each person allocated a daily zone, and operates term-time only from Monday to Friday (2 hours 15 minutes per day). DBS is required.

The position focuses on sanitising toilets, corridors, staff rooms, classrooms, halls, sports areas and communal spaces, with duties tailored to each area's needs.

Responsibilities

• The cleaning of all internal areas of the school.
• Each individual will be assigned a set area to work in daily.
• This can include toilets, corridors, staff rooms, classrooms, school halls, indoor sports area/ changing rooms, offices and communal areas.
• Sanitising toilet areas – toilets, sinks, flooring, soap dispensers, hand dryers, cubicles and pipework.
