Job summary

Christchurch Infant School is seeking a Cleaner to join its site team. You will carry out cleaning tasks as per the school's cleaning schedule, ensure compliance with requirements, and work with limited supervision within an established pattern, while safeguarding children per policies.

Qualifications

• Flexible with good organisational skills and able to use initiative.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods.

Responsibilities

• carry out cleaning tasks set out in the school's cleaning schedule
• ensure that work undertaken complies with stated requirements and undertake appropriate training, as required.
• work with limited supervision to an established work pattern. Variations in work requirements or allocation will be determined by the Headteacher/Caretaker
• promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in accordance with the school’s Safeguarding and Child Protection policies.
