School Cleaner

Grade 1, £12.26 per hour, term time only plus 2 weeks.

Monday-Friday 12.5 hours per week, 2.5 hours per day

Closing Date – 9am, Monday 28th April 2025

A vacancy has arisen for a Cleaner starting as soon as possible at St Chads First school.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Cleaner to work as part of our team.

The role will include:

  1. Mop sweeping.
  2. Single solution mopping.
  3. Buffing.
  4. Spray cleaning.
  5. Suction cleaning.
  6. Damp wiping.
  7. Waste disposal.
  8. Stripping and resealing of hard floors.
  9. Cleaning of toilet facilities and associated tasks required to achieve a high quality of cleanliness.
  10. Cleaning of fixtures and fittings.
  11. The use of appropriate cleaning equipment and machinery.
  12. Ensuring the safe use of chemicals, machinery and equipment when carrying out the cleaning function in line with current legislation, standards and County Council policies and procedures for Health and Safety and in accordance with training provided.
