Job summary

High Street Primary Academy in Plymouth seeks a reliable Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the school. You will work 10 hours per week during term-time plus 2 weeks (41 weeks per year) and support a safe, welcoming environment for pupils and staff.

Join a dedicated team and contribute to an outstanding learning environment. Experience in cleaning and knowledge of health and safety are preferred, with safeguarding commitments essential.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties in accordance with the school's cleaning schedule.
• Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
• Report equipment faults and health and safety concerns to the relevant supervisor.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety throughout the school.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and support changes to daily routines when required.
• Comply with safeguarding, health and safety, data protection and Trust policies.
