Job summary

Mitie is seeking a dedicated part-time Cleaner to join the team at Harlow Green Primary School in Gateshead. You will deliver routine cleaning services, maintain high standards, and support the site team to meet contract SLAs.

The role offers 27.5 hours per week with a 12.71 per hour rate; shifts 6:30–8:45 and 14:45–18:00, Monday to Friday. Prior cleaning experience is preferred but training is provided, and you will work with a professional, reliable team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cleaning services according to the schedules and SLAs.
• Work within a team and on own initiative.
• Follow Mitie quality, safety, health and environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain designated areas to contracted cleanliness levels and perform daily/weekly tasks.
• Ensure equipment is kept clean, well maintained and safe to use.
• Report maintenance or security issues as they arise.
