About the role

Pay Details: Grade 1, £24,309, £12.60ph

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: Monday to Friday

Term time: 10 hrs/week (38 weeks)

Recess: 8 hrs/week (3 weeks)

Main Place of Work: Llantwit Major School

Description:

• Assist in providing an effective cleaning service to building cleaning clients.
• Cover for other cleaners during holidays, sickness, staff shortages, and absences.
• Occasionally assist the chargehand / Site Supervisor with training cleaning staff.
• Undertake all cleaning tasks such as carpet cleaning, steam cleaning, site-specific cleaning, builders cleans, recess cleaning, and other tasks as specified.

About you

You will need:

• Previous experience in the cleaning industry or related environment.
• Basic understanding of cleaning tasks required for efficient premises cleaning.
• Good verbal communication skills to interact with the public and client officers.
• Physical ability to perform manual and active labouring duties.
• Ability to work independently and undertake duties effectively.
• Positive, self-motivated, flexible, and responsive to changing priorities.
• Willingness to work irregular hours.
• Ability to drive/travel throughout the Vale or between locations as needed.
