Job summary

Kibworth Church of England Primary School is seeking a motivated cleaner to maintain hygiene and safety for pupils and staff. The role covers cleaning duties across classrooms and facilities, with COSHH compliance and health and safety responsibilities.

The post is permanent and part-time, aligned with term-time plus arrangements. The successful candidate will work either mornings or evenings, Monday to Friday, with potential extra hours during school holidays to cover preschool or holiday

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques.
• Ability to follow and understand instructions.
• Empathy with and understanding of children.
• Capable of working on own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties: sweeping, dusting, toilet cleaning, mopping, vacuuming.
• Use cleaning materials per manufacturers’ instructions and COSHH Regulations.
• Ensure health and safety compliance for pupils and staff.
