Kier Places is seeking a Cleaner to support our Facilities Management team at Southgrove School. This part-time role offers morning or afternoon shifts (12.5 hours per week) with some flexibility. You will help maintain high cleanliness standards throughout the school in a supportive educational environment.

The position emphasizes COSHH compliance, safety, and the ability to work independently while contributing as a team member. A reliable, organised approach is essential.

Formación

• Experience in cleaning, ideally in a school, office or commercial building.
• Knowledge of COSHH regulations and safe use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to work independently while being a team member.
• Attention to detail and reliability.
• Organised and able to prioritise tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and maintain classrooms, corridors, bathrooms and communal areas to high standards.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors and keep surfaces spotless and safe.
• Empty waste, restock hand wash and toilet consumables.
• Follow COSHH guidelines and colour-coding to prevent cross contamination.
• Report maintenance issues or pest concerns to supervisor promptly.
