Job summary

Lift Schools is seeking a Cleaner to help keep our school environment clean, safe, and ready for pupils and staff. You will work with the School Operations Manager to uphold high standards and create a space where children can thrive.

Role is 15 hours per week (3pm–6pm, Monday to Friday) with a pay rate of £13.28 per hour. No extensive experience is required, just a positive attitude, reliability and pride in your work. You’ll join a supportive team dedicated to learning and safety.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Friendly, reliable and takes pride in their work.
• Able to use own initiative while working in a supportive team.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sweep, hoover, polish and dust areas across the school to agreed standards.
• Empty bins, replace hand towels, toilet rolls and soap, report low stock.
• Complete deep cleaning tasks during school closures.
• Report health and safety issues or any unsafe conditions.
• Use all cleaning materials and equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep accurate records and complete any paperwork as needed.
