Job summary

Queen Elizabeth II High School is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join the site team. You will perform a variety of cleaning duties across the school, using standard equipment and following health and safety guidelines.

The role supports the Site Manager and aims to keep facilities clean, safe and welcoming for students, staff and visitors. This is a hands-on role with opportunities for training and career development within the Isle of Man Public Service.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Good eye for cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain classrooms, corridors and facilities (washing, sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, dusting).
• Remove litter and report maintenance or health and safety concerns.
• Monitor work areas and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the site.
