Job summary

Walton Academy is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our focused staff in Grantham. You will carry out general cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic, safe learning environment across the academy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Health & Safety Regulations as they relate to cleaning equipment.
• COSHH and safe use of chemicals knowledge.
• Experience undertaking a range of cleaning duties.
• Ability to work in an organised and methodical manner.
• Ability to take initiative and handle unexpected problems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning tasks set out in the academy's cleaning schedule.
• Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and according to instructions.
• Identify and tidy additional tasks to maintain high standards.
• Observe health and safety and security requirements.
• Complete any records or documentation required by the Academy.
