Job summary

Manor School, part of the Nene Education Trust, seeks a reliable cleaner to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment for pupils, staff and visitors. The role focuses on cleaning designated areas to a high standard, managing waste, restocking consumables, and ensuring comfort for all users.

You will contribute to an organised school environment and support a culture of good hygiene, safety, and teamwork, with the Trust promoting wellbeing and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Perform cleaning of designated areas using appropriate tools to high hygiene standards.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste per school policy.
• Top up consumables to maintain hygiene and comfort.
• Move furniture with assistance to enable cleaning.
• Ability to work unsupervised and maintain cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas using brushes, mops, vacuums and polish to maintain hygiene.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste according to policy.
• Top up soap, toilet rolls and towels to maintain standards.
• Move furniture to enable cleaning across areas.
• Promote good hygiene standards.
• Support a clean and safe learning environment.
