Job summary

North Yorkshire Council, through Sleights School near Whitby, is hiring a Cleaner to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Duties include dusting, vacuuming, classroom and washroom cleaning, and general site duties. Full training provided, no prior experience needed.

12.5 hours per week, typically 3:30pm–6:00pm, with some flexibility. Pay is £13.28 per hour. There is also an opportunity to take on Caretaker duties: 5 hours per week, usually 6:45am–7:45am, with pay at £13.48–£13.92 per

Qualifications

• Reliable, dependable individual with a strong work ethic.
• Full training will be provided, previous experience not essential.

• Dusting and vacuuming classrooms and communal areas.
