Job summary

HRGO Recruitment is seeking a reliable School Cleaner in Yeovil to help maintain a safe, clean environment for students, staff and visitors.

The role runs from 2PM to 6PM, Monday to Friday, part-time and temporary, with DBS clearance required.

The successful candidate will work with the Facilities Manager to ensure high cleaning standards across classrooms, offices and common areas.

Qualifications

• DBS required (or subject to clearance).
• Previous experience in a cleaning or janitorial role preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects occasionally.
• Strong attention to detail and organisation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, offices, hallways and other areas of the school as assigned.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms and other areas.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Facilities Manager.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
