Job summary

PK Education Limited is seeking reliable cleaners to join our school cleaning team across Newcastle and surrounding areas. Positions cover early morning or afternoon shifts in schools, with opportunity to work in Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, Gateshead, Sunderland, County Durham and Teesside.

We value reliability, punctuality and a careful approach to hygiene. An enhanced DBS (Update Service) or willingness to apply is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is desirable, particularly within schools or other busy settings.
• A reliable, punctual approach and good attention to detail.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability for early morning and/or afternoon shifts.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas.
• Vacuum, sweep and mop floors, wipe surfaces and empty bins.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Use cleaning products and equipment safely, following instructions.
• Report maintenance issues and replenish cleaning supplies as required.
