Job summary

Edinburgh Academy Junior School, located at 10 Arboretum Road, Edinburgh, EH3 5PL, seeks a reliable School Cleaner to join our friendly Sodexo team. You will maintain high cleanliness standards across the school, contributing to a safe and pleasant environment for students and staff with full training provided.

Hours are 20 per week, with shifts from Monday to Friday, and term-time/52-week patterns. A supportive team and ongoing development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential.
• Full training will be provided.
• Reliable and a team player with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors and shared school spaces to a high standard.
• Use cleaning equipment safely with full training provided.
• Follow daily cleaning routines and schedules.
• Work as part of a friendly and supportive team.
• Take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment.
