Job summary

East Ayrshire Council is seeking a temporary part-time assistant at St Joseph's Academy, Kilmarnock. You will support learners and teachers with classroom administration and materials preparation to help deliver key objectives in the Education Service Plan and Community Plan.

The post operates 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term-time, with a full-time salary listed as £26,190-£27,300 annually; the part-time equivalent is £12,835-£13,380 per annum. PVG checks are required.

Qualifications

• PVG scheme membership is required for Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults.
• Provide details of at least two references, one from your current or most recent employer.
• The reference from your current or most recent employer must come from an appropriate senior manager.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and preparing teaching materials to assist the Education Service Plan and Community Plan objectives.
