M&M Supply in Bristol is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join the catering team within an education setting. This hands-on role delivers meals for students, staff and visitors and supports day-to-day running of the operation.
You will be involved in menu planning, stock management and costings, with opportunities to contribute ideas to the service development. The role requires working in a busy kitchen, occasional evenings or weekends, and safeguarding checks apply.

You will work alongside the wider catering team to provide meals for students, staff and visitors, while supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of the catering operation.
The position involves food preparation and cooking alongside responsibilities including menu planning, ordering, stock management and costings. You will also have the opportunity to contribute ideas to the ongoing development of the catering service.
The role requires someone comfortable working in a busy kitchen environment, including periods of standing, lifting and working in hot conditions. Occasional evening and weekend work may also be required.
We are looking for someone who has:
A City & Guilds 706/1 qualification or equivalent, and NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Hospitality and Catering or equivalent, or working towards these qualifications, are included within the essential criteria. Experience working in education or catering for functions such as weddings and buffets is desirable.
