Overview

Our client is a highly regarded co-educational preparatory school for children aged 3-13 situated near Cranbrook, Kent. Their modern school with first class facilities is well known for its fabulous food and spotlessly clean facilities, and it is the Catering & Housekeeping team's responsibility to ensure that they maintain this excellent reputation.

Role and Schedule

They are now seeking a Chef de Partie to join their team as soon as possible, working Tuesday to Friday, 10.30am - 6.30pm, and Saturday 8.00am - 1.00pm during term-time, with flexibility for rota-based hours. In this role, you will be catering for all School functions and events, including at weekends (match teas) and evenings. You should be happy to work alone and as part of a team. You will be responsible for locking up and closing down the kitchen and dining room.

What we offer

Salary is from FTE £18,000 but is negotiable and depending upon experience. They are looking for someone to join them before the end of the Summer Term if possible, subject to all satisfactory references and compliance checks. However, they are happy to recruit for the right candidate to join from the start of the Autumn Term (September 2024) if that is more convenient.
