Hours: 9:15 AM - 1:45 PM (Term Time Only)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced School Chef to join our team at a friendly and vibrant school in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for cooking and ensuring children receive healthy, nutritious meals in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, balanced meals daily in line with dietary requirements.
• Ensure food is served to a high standard and on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment.
• Manage stock and kitchen supplies efficiently.
• Adhere to all food hygiene and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a cooking or catering role (preferably in a school or similar setting).
• Valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Strong understanding of food safety and allergen awareness.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for working around children.
