Job Opportunity: Chef at Chartwells

We are currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full-time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the UK's market-leading food service company. Shift pattern overview:

• Monday to Friday: Full-time (Days)
• Saturday and Sunday: Flexible or off

Note: This role is contracted for 43 weeks per year.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing high-quality, delicious food that satisfies our clients and customers
• Managing menu changes and improvements
• Enhancing our food services based on customer feedback
• Assisting with menu creation and food concept development
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Monitoring stock levels and overseeing kitchen hygiene and safety standards

Ideal candidate profile:

• Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification
• Experience supervising a team and in a similar Chef role
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate
• Flexible approach to working hours
