Job summary

Chartwells is recruiting a Chef on a full-time basis to prepare and serve high-quality food that delights clients and customers across the UK. The role is part of the Compass Group UK&I family and requires strong leadership in a school catering environment.

You will develop menus, respond to feedback, supervise a kitchen team and maintain hygiene standards while meeting regulatory requirements. A City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ and a Food Hygiene certificate are essential.

Qualifications

• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Experience in a similar Chef role.
• Flexible approach to working.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells on a full time basis contracted to 37 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK.
