City Centre Recruitment is seeking a reliable and experienced Cafeteria Cook Lead to join a welcoming catering team based in Poole. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for food and leadership, looking for a stable, term-time role with a great work-life balance.

The Role includes:

• Preparing, cooking, and serving meals and beverages to a high standard

• Developing menus that are cost-effective and meet current food trends

• Managing stock control and placing food orders

• Receiving, checking, and storing deliveries

• Supervising a small team of catering staff on a day-to-day basis

• Ensuring allergen and food safety standards are consistently met

• Monitoring food and equipment temperatures and maintaining hygiene practices

• Supporting hospitality orders and event catering as required

Some travel to nearby local sites may occasionally be required.

About You

Strong cooking and food preparation experience

Confidence leading a small team

A flexible, hands-on approach and ability to work under pressure

A good level of general education, including English and Maths

Desirable but not essential:

• Previous experience in a school, college, or similar catering setting

• Knowledge of health & safety and allergen management
