Job summary

Derbyshire Catering Service is recruiting a Catering Supervisor to lead the kitchen team at Dronfield Junior School. You will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking, and service, while ensuring adherence to food hygiene and health & safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 2 in Catering & Hospitality or relevant experience, plus a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2. Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidate would hold NVQ Level 2 in Catering and Hospitality or have relevant experience.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2.
• Experience in supervising a kitchen team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen team and manage day-to-day operations.
• Prepare, cook and serve meals while maintaining high hygiene standards.
• Carry out clerical duties via a digital management system.
