Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Hospitality Food Service Assistant for Oasis Academy Woodview in Birmingham. The role supports daily school hospitality events, with term-time pattern, 25 hours per week, and pay of £13.45 per hour.

You will work closely with the Cook Manager to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service in a busy school environment. Experience in school catering, food preparation, and customer-facing service is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous school catering experience is essential.
• Experience preparing and serving food within a school or education environment.
• Experience supporting hospitality, functions or events.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up food and refreshments for daily hospitality events.
• Serve food and beverages to staff, visitors and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Ensure hospitality events run smoothly with well-presented areas and high hygiene standards.
• Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and storing supplies appropriately.
• Follow all food hygiene, health and safety and safeguarding procedures.
