Job summary

Concept Resources is recruiting a School Catering Assistant for a busy primary school in Worthing. You will support the kitchen team with the preparation and service of meals to pupils and staff in a daytime, Monday-to-Friday shift.

This temporary role offers 20 hours per week, 10:00am–2:00pm, at £13.50 per hour, until 23 October 2026. A Food Safety Level 2 certificate is essential and Enhanced DBS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 2 certificate – essential.
• Enhanced DBS preferred.
• Previous catering, kitchen or school-meals experience preferred.
• Good understanding of food hygiene standards.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Comfortable working within a school environment.
• Able to work Monday to Friday for the duration of the assignment.
