Job summary

Miquill is seeking a Relief Catering Assistant to join our kitchen team across several schools in the Wolverhampton region. You’ll deliver friendly customer service, help prepare and serve meals, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role is zero-hours and term-time, with full training provided. A driving licence to travel between sites is required; previous catering experience is a bonus, Health & Safety basics preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence to travel between schools.
• Friendly and versatile personality for a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and enjoy interacting with people.
• Catering experience is a bonus, but full training is provided.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred, but not essential; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a dynamic team to create a fun and unique dining experience for students and staff
• Assisting with preparing and serving meals
• Operating tills (full training provided)
• Ensuring a sparkling clean kitchen environment at all times
• Strictly adhering to safety guidelines including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies
