Job summary

Coventry City Council is recruiting for a Catering Assistant at Sherbourne Fields School in Coventry. You will join a dedicated catering team delivering lunches for pupils with diverse dietary needs, in a busy school kitchen.

The role involves helping with food prep, serving and ensuring meals are prepared, served and delivered safely and efficiently. Training will include Level 2 Food Hygiene and Health & Safety inductions, with DBS checks required.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering is helpful but not essential; a positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn are important.
• Training includes Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and Health and Safety Induction.
• DBS safeguarding and pre-employment clearances are required prior to appointment.
