Job summary

Norse Catering in Norwich is seeking a part-time Catering Assistant for Cecil Gowing Infant School. The role is permanent, term-time only, 11.30am–2.15pm, Monday to Friday, 13.45 hours per week. Salary is £12.71 per hour (£25,777.12 pro-rata). Based on-site, you will support lunch preparation and service for pupils and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering environments is preferred.
• Full induction and training programmes are provided.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required and paid by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and serving of lunches for pupils and staff.
• Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards in service areas.
• Set up service counters and dining areas for mealtimes and clear away after service.
• Support the team in delivering a welcoming, engaging mealtime experience for pupils and staff.
