Job summary

Aspens Services Ltd. is seeking a Catering Assistant to support our school kitchen with basic food preparation and excellent service during the lunch rush. You’ll handle tills, assist with serving and ensure standards are maintained while following health and safety guidelines.

We welcome applicants with catering or fast-paced service experience. Food Hygiene Level 2 is advantageous, but full training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Team player with ability to work in a busy school kitchen.
• Experience in catering or fast-paced service environments preferred.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is desirable; training can be provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers at tills during service and provide friendly service.
• Deliver front-line customer service to students and staff.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation and kitchen duties.
