Job summary

Impact Food Group is hiring a Catering Assistant at Leigh Academy Minster. The role runs Monday to Friday, 9.30am-2.30pm (25 hours per week) during 37 term weeks per year, with a salary of £13,027.75 per annum.

You’ll work with the catering team to deliver friendly, efficient service, assist with food prep, serve customers at the till, and maintain clean, safe areas. DBS checks and safeguarding are part of the process.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly, helpful approach.
• Experience in catering or retail is preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the catering team to provide friendly, efficient service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy and safe.
