Job summary

Aramark UK are recruiting two Catering Assistants to join the team at St Thomas Catholic High School in CW2 8AE. The roles are permanent, part-time (16 hours weekly), and align with term-time scheduling across 39 weeks.

Training, progression, and apprenticeship opportunities are available as part of our commitment to developing staff from within. You will serve food and beverages, assist with basic food prep, manage payments, restock displays, and maintain clean, safe work areas in line with

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers following prescribed methods of portioning, presentation and combinations in line with brand standards and answer questions about the products
• Perform basic cold food preparation and made to order services including hot sandwiches in line with Aramark brand standards
• Take payment and keep financial records as required
• Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
• Clean back of house areas, crockery and cutlery using equipment when trained to do so
• Clean and tidy counter, light equipment and public areas
• Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the workday
• Perform daily paper/computer work she/he is assigned
• Keeps diligent records as required
• Follows food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements
• Undertake relevant training as required
