Catering Staff Blackburn Primary School
Role Overview: We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Staff member to join our dedicated team. You will be supporting the preparation and delivery of healthy, nutritious meals for our primary school pupils. As a key member of our school community, you will help create a welcoming and safe dining environment, ensuring meals are prepared and served to the highest hygiene and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working around children, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment, and takes pride in providing great service.

Duties
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of meals in line with dietary requirements and portion control.
  • Ensure all food is prepared safely and hygienically, following school and food safety regulations.
  • Support with setting up and cleaning the dining area before and after service.
  • Wash up and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and surfaces.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver a smooth, efficient lunchtime service.
  • Engage positively with pupils and staff to support a pleasant mealtime experience.
