Job summary

Derbyshire Catering Service is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join the Hasland Hall Community School kitchen team. You will support the kitchen supervisor with food prep, cooking, portion control and allergen compliance, and help prepare the dining room for service.

We value a positive attitude suitable for a school environment. Successful completion of the NVQ food hygiene certificate will be required upon appointment, with ongoing training and a focus on food hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Preparing the dining room for service and assisting with meal service in a school setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking tasks as directed.
• Ensure allergen controls are followed and hygiene standards are maintained.
