Job summary

Aspens Services is seeking a Catering Assistant with Driving to join our school catering team. Based in the Aldercar area, you will help with basic food prep, serve during lunch, and deliver meals between schools.

This role offers Monday to Friday term-time hours, 25 hours per week across 38 weeks per year, with a pay of £13.50 per hour. A full UK driving licence is required; Food Hygiene Level 2 is helpful but not essential, training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or fast-paced service.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 qualification is great, but not essential, as we can provide the training!
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Serve on tills during service, with full training provided.
• Provide friendly, polite service to students and staff.
• Assist the team with basic food preparation.
• Safely deliver meals between schools and maintain a safe kitchen environment.
