Job summary

Qualifications

• Have good practical maintenance skills and an understanding of health and safety requirements.
• Ideally have previous experience in a similar role.
• Be proactive, well organised, and able to work independently using their own initiative.
• Take pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming school environment.
• Have a full clean driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the security, safety and day-to-day maintenance of the school site
• Carry out repairs, maintenance and improvement works
• Supporting the school's cleaning team to maintain a clean and welcoming environment
• Carrying out routine health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
• Liaising with contractors and external service providers as required
