Job summary

Kernow Learning is seeking a Caretaker to start as soon as possible at St Columb Major Academy in Cornwall. This role is 35 hours per week year‑round with 7am–10am and 2:30pm–6:30pm shifts to enable opening and closing of the school, with potential duties across other schools.

The ideal candidate will have building maintenance experience, a clean driving licence, and willingness to uphold health and safety standards. DBS checks and safeguarding procedures apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience of general building maintenance.
• Awareness of Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Unlocking the school each morning and evening.
• Assisting in other schools when required.
• Working pattern: 7am–10am and 2:30pm–6:30pm, 5 days a week.
