Key Responsibilities

1. Ensure the safety, security, and cleanliness of the school premises.
2. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs across the site.
3. Monitor and manage the heating, lighting, and alarm systems.
4. Assist with setting up facilities for school events and activities.
5. Conduct regular health and safety checks, including fire safety.
6. Oversee external contractors and ensure all work meets required standards.
7. Respond promptly to emergencies and unexpected issues, such as leaks or equipment breakdowns.
8. Support in maintaining an inviting and orderly outdoor environment (gardening and grounds maintenance as required).

Key Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a school or educational environment.
• Good DIY skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
