Job summary

The role focuses on keeping the site safe, secure and welcoming for students and staff, with responsibilities spanning security, maintenance and event setup, with a salary of £25,000–£29,000 per annum (DOE).

The successful candidate will manage daily opening, supervise CCTV and alarms, carry out repairs, and coordinate hall setups for exams and evening events, ensuring safety standards

Responsibilities

• Site Security: Opening and securing school buildings, CCTV and intruder alarms.
• Facilities Maintenance: DIY tasks from plumbing and carpentry to painting to keep repairs high standard.
• Compliance & Safety: Health and safety checks including fire alarm testing and Legionella monitoring.
• Porterage & Support: Setting up school halls for exams, assemblies and evening community events.
