Job summary

MyNewTerm is seeking a dedicated Caretaker to support the safe and efficient operation of our premises. You will help maintain a clean, secure environment, assist with minor repairs and grounds work, and promote the welfare of pupils and staff.

The role requires flexible, reliable and professional conduct, with shifts Monday to Friday across early and late patterns. DBS check and references are essential; start as soon as possible.

Qualifications

• Must be a good communicator
• Able to work flexibly and under pressure
• Practical maintenance and repair skills

Responsibilities

• Clean spillages and maintain cleanliness of premises
• Carry out grounds maintenance including weeding and hedge trimming
• Perform handyman duties, basic repairs and waste disposal
• Provide porterage and assist with minor works as required
