School Caretaker - Tunbridge Wells, Kent

Term Time Teachers are seeking a reliable and experienced Caretaker to join Term Time Teachers and work in our client schools across the Tunbridge Wells and West Kent area. We frequently receive bookings for temporary caretakers to undertake posts on a short term, long term and permanent basis. Whatever kind of work you are looking for - we will do our best to find you a position that works for you.

As a School Caretaker, you will have the following responsibilities;

• Setting up the school hall for assemblies/exams
• Health and Safety Checks
• Moving Objects
• Cleaning
• Opening / closing key sites in the school.

Different schools require their caretakers to work at different times. This could be on a ROTA basis with other caretakers or cover the whole school day and more! Typical hours would range from 9am - 5pm with an hourly rate from 14/hour, depending on experience.

Requirements (can be any of the following);

• Previous experience as a school caretaker (ideally)
• Experience working in a school and previous experience of a role that requires you to be on your feet, alert and have excellent attention to detail.
• Be flexible and willing to carry out a variety of tasks.
• Hold a DBS certificate or be willing to apply for one.
