Time:10:00AM-18:00PM

Salary: £14 £16 per hour

About the Role

Complete Classroom Services are seeking a reliable, proactive, and dedicated School Caretaker to join a welcoming and vibrant School in Reading. This is a full-time position offering an immediate start for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the school premises are secure, clean, and well-maintained at all times
  • Carry out minor repairs, maintenance, and basic DIY tasks
  • Open and close the school site daily
  • Monitor and maintain heating, lighting, and alarm systems
  • Liaise with contractors and oversee site works when required
  • Support staff with setting up for school activities and events
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Previous experience in caretaking, site management, or facilities (preferred but not essential)
  • A good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Strong practical skills in maintenance and basic repairs
  • A proactive, dependable, and independent approach to work
  • An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
