Job summary

Blundeston Primary School is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our on-site catering team, supporting the preparation and serving of lunches for pupils and staff. The role is permanent, part-time, and aligned with term-time hours.

You will work Monday to Friday, 10:30 to 13:30, with training provided to ensure safe food handling and great service. Prior catering experience is welcomed, but not required as we offer robust induction.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering is welcomed, but induction and training are provided.
• Familiarity with hygiene and safety in food handling is beneficial.
• Term-time only schedule applies with part-time hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of lunches for pupils and staff.
• Work on-site at Blundeston Primary School, term-time only, Monday to Friday 10:30–13:30.
