Job summary

St Teresa's invites applications for a part-time School Business Manager. The role covers financial leadership, budgeting, forecasting and statutory reporting, working closely with the Headteacher and Trust CFO.

You will oversee administration, HR and operations, with line management responsibilities, while ensuring efficient school performance. The post offers Scale 8, points 25–28, actual salary £33,803–£36,345 (Outer Fringe) and term-time-plus-2-weeks working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in school finance or trust governance is desirable
• Strong IT skills and proficient with financial systems and reporting

Responsibilities

• Provide financial leadership including planning, forecasting, budget setting and management, and statutory reporting
• Maintain and develop administrative and financial procedures in collaboration with senior team and governors
• Advise the Senior Management Team on non-teaching matters to support school operations
• Line manage staff and motivate the team, ensuring deadlines are met and communications are effective
