Job summary

Winslow CE School is seeking a proactive School Business Manager to lead finance, HR, premises and administration, ensuring our staff and pupils have the resources and environment to thrive.

You will report to the Headteacher and sit on the Senior Leadership Team, working closely with governors and external partners. Experience in a school setting is desirable, but strong business management skills from other sectors will also be considered.

This role is central to the smooth running of our school. You will lead on finance, HR, premises, and administration, ensuring our staff and pupils have the resources and environment they need to thrive. You will report to the Headteacher and be a member of the Senior Leadership Team

We are looking for someone who is:

• Organised, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities

• Skilled in financial management and confident with budgets

• Be proficient in Excel and be confident in learning new systems.

• A strong communicator who builds positive relationships

• Calm, practical, and able to find solutions when challenges arise

• Supportive of our Christian ethos and committed to our school community

You should be proactive, solutions‑focused, and confident working with staff, governors, external partners, and the wider community.
