What will I be doing?
The Executive Director of Services is a key role for Hestia. Reporting to the Chief Executive, this position offers an opportunity to combine strategic leadership and operational experience to drive a customer-first approach.
As a member of the Executive leadership team, you will translate strategy into action by developing and implementing business plans for operational areas: Mental Health and Complex Needs, Criminal Justice, Modern Slavery, and Domestic Abuse. You will lead a team of experts, supporting them to share best practices and develop high-quality, customer-focused services that prioritize safeguarding and support for vulnerable individuals.
Your responsibilities include promoting Hestia's insights into trauma recovery, nurturing stakeholder relationships, and staying informed about wider health, social care, political, and economic issues, interpreting their implications for service delivery and users.
What do I need to bring?
You should demonstrate the core skills required for this role and align with our values and mission. Experience in delivering trauma-informed, recovery-focused services, supported housing, and leading high-performing teams is essential. We value lived experience in the areas we support, so please mention this if applicable. A strategic, financially astute, and empathetic leadership style is important, along with strong stakeholder relationship skills.
