Job summary

Hobbayne Primary School is seeking an experienced School Business Manager to join its Senior Leadership Team. The role provides professional leadership across business functions and ensures resources are used effectively to support teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.

The successful candidate will advise the Headteacher and Governors on financial matters, lead on HR, ICT, estates and safety compliance, and line manage administrative and site staff.

Qualifications

• A recognised qualification in School Business Management or relevant finance/HR qualification.
• Significant experience in financial management or senior leadership in education.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, monitoring and reporting.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and high standards.
